Message from the Director
Dear Students,
We are living in a time when the world is changing rapidly. Technology and Artificial Intelligence are reshaping how we work and learn, but important questions about being human remain.
How do we understand people? How do we make thoughtful choices? How do we respond to differences? How do we decide what is meaningful and worth pursuing?
These questions make a Liberal Arts education highly relevant today.
At SLA, we encourage you to look at the world with curiosity and understand the connections between different subjects. Human behaviour, culture, media, history, economics, philosophy, and technology constantly influence one another.
Learning at SLA goes beyond lectures and textbooks. Through discussions, projects, research, internships, field experiences, and interactions with professionals and communities, you will have opportunities to turn ideas into experiences and experiences into understanding.
We want you to develop qualities that remain valuable in a changing world: independent thinking, empathy, clear communication, collaboration, and responsible decision-making.
Our ambition is simple: to ensure every student leaves SLA with knowledge, professional skills, curiosity, confidence, and a sense of responsibility towards the world.
I warmly welcome you to the School of Liberal Arts at DPGU.
