Message from the Director

“From knowledge to innovation, and from innovation to impact - building the next generation of pharmaceutical scientists and healthcare innovators.”

At DPGU School of Pharmacy and Research, we believe pharmacy extends beyond medicines to encompass science, technology, healthcare, innovation, and entrepreneurship. Our aim is to create an ecosystem where education connects with research, research connects with industry, and innovation creates meaningful societal impact.

With more than two decades of academic and research experience, I believe the true measure of pharmaceutical education lies not only in what students learn, but in what they can create, solve, and contribute. Our academic and research initiatives encourage students to explore contemporary areas such as advanced drug delivery, nanotherapeutics, pharmaceutical technology, formulation development, herbal therapeutics, biomedical technologies, and translational research.

Research and industry–academia collaboration are key pillars of our vision. We aim to give students opportunities for experimentation, interdisciplinary learning, problem-solving, mentorship, and exposure to emerging pharmaceutical technologies.

Our goal is to nurture professionals who are scientifically competent, technologically agile, ethically grounded, and industry-ready, capable of transforming ideas into innovations and innovations into solutions for real healthcare needs.

I warmly welcome students, researchers, academicians, industry professionals, and collaborators to join us in building a future-ready DPGU School of Pharmacy and Research by Dr. D. Y. Patil Group; where knowledge becomes innovation and innovation becomes impact.

Prof. Dr. D. G. Bhalke, Director, DPGU School of Technology and Research

With best wishes,

Dr. Nilesh M. Mahajan
