At Dnyaan Prasad Global University, we recognize that mental health is an essential component of overall wellbeing and academic success. Our Mental Health & Wellbeing initiatives include counselling services, stress management workshops, peer support programs, and awareness campaigns focused on emotional resilience, mindfulness, and work-life balance.

Trained professionals provide confidential guidance and assistance to help individuals navigate personal or academic challenges effectively. We encourage every member of our community to seek support when needed and to actively participate in creating a culture of empathy, care, and mutual respect on campus.

Ms. Sarabsri

Sarabsri teaches Mindful Meditation Practices and conducts Mindfulness workshops bringing together the practices of Zen poetry, meditation, art, inner healing and neuroscience. Having learnt her craft across intensive program at the Mindful Awareness Research Center (MARC) which is part of the Jane and Terry Semel Institute for Neuroscience and Human Behavior at UCLA (University of California, Los Angels), Buddhist meditation principles and spending time learning her practice in silent retreats and meditation centers in Asia and Europe, she offers integrated trainings based on scientific, secular mindfulness practices to foster well-being, inner healing and social-emotional learning.

Sarabsri has a deep commitment to bring the mindfulness practices to individuals and organizations, she is passionate about working with corporates, marginalised communities and children. She has conducted and led Mindfulness-based projects in schools, corporates and charities.

She was a Speaker at Mindfulness @ Workplace Summit 2021 Organized by Digital HR (https://thedigitalhr.com/blog/mind-is-like-a-parachute-and-mindfulness-is-the-only-key-to-open-up-your-mind/) and  at Global Mindfulness in Education Summit on January 31 - February 4, 2022, organised by MindBe (https://mindbe-education.com/)

Her book ‘Mindfulness through Life Stories’ is under publication and she has presented her approach to inclusivity in mindfulness practices on multiple national and international conferences.

For the past seven years, Sarabsri has also been leading Maitri, a Grief support group and Loving Birds Sangha in the plum village tradition of Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh.

How to Register for a Counselling Session

Students, faculty, and staff can access confidential counselling services to support their mental health and emotional wellbeing.

Follow the steps below to register for a counselling session:
  1. Step 1: Access the Portal Log in to the University ERP portal using your institutional credentials.
  2. Step 2: Submit a Request Navigate to the Mitra Counselling section and complete the Counselling Request Form with accurate details.
  3. Step 3: Confirmation You will receive an acknowledgment email confirming your registration and proposed appointment schedule.
  4. Step 4: Counselling SessionAttend the session as per the scheduled date and time. All discussions are strictly confidential and handled by qualified counsellors.
