Dnyaan Prasad Global University (DPGU) is a State Private University established under the aegis of Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society under the Maharashtra Private Universities (Establishment and Regulation) (Amendment) Act, 2024 (Maharashtra Act No. 20 of 2024). The University is recognised under Section 2(f) of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Act, 1956.

Building on more than four decades of educational legacy of Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society, DPGU is committed to advancing excellence in education, research, innovation and societal development.
