as a hub for future-ready education.
Dr. Dheeraj Agrawal is a distinguished academic and institutional leader who has consistently advanced the integration of education with
evolving industry demands. With over 18 years of professional experience, he has demonstrated exceptional commitment to bridging the gap between academia and the corporate
world through strategic partnerships, student development initiatives, and institutional collaborations.
Dr. Agrawal began his professional journey in 2008 as a Lecturer
at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Technology, Pimpri, Pune, where he soon became actively involved in the Training and Placement Cell. His early focus on
fostering strong recruiter relationships and enhancing student employability laid the foundation for his future contributions to institutional growth.
As Dean – Industry Institute Interaction and Training & Placement Officer, Dr. Agrawal successfully established alliances with over 500 leading companies, significantly
expanding placement opportunities for students. Under his leadership, graduates have secured placements in top multinational corporations with packages exceeding ₹40 LPA, and in some cases reaching ₹70 LPA, a testament to his strategic vision and commitment to student success.
Currently, Dr. Agrawal serves as Director – Central Corporate Relations at Dr. D. Y. Patil Unitech Society, Pune, overseeing corporate engagement and placement activities across a wide spectrum of disciplines, including Engineering, Management, Pharmacy, Law, Arts, Commerce, Science, Nursing, Hotel Management, and Teacher Education.
